Experimental: Bridging the Gap, Reconciling Orders Without Needing Order IDs

At ThinkVAL, we’re always experimenting with new ways to simplify life for our customers. One recurring pain point we’ve heard: “It’d be great to quickly check if transactions between the POS and our third-party (3P) delivery platforms match—but we don’t always have the order ID from both systems.”

We get it. Hunting down order IDs across systems is time-consuming, and sometimes, the data just isn’t there.

That’s why we’re excited to share an experimental feature we’re testing. It builds on our existing transaction reconciliation—where we already match 3P delivery platform orders with POS transactions using the 3P order ID stored in the POS.

Now, we’re taking it a step further.

Our new approach helps you drill down into discrepancies between 3P platforms and POS—even if you don’t have the order ID from either system. It's faster, smarter, and designed to reduce the friction of multi-system matching.
